My 9lb tench was caught using a single honey yucaton boilie fished over more boilies and a selection of different trout pellets. It was caught at about 3.30am at darenth long lake on a 12lb main line tied to a korda swivel and a super mantis hooklink with a size 10 korda longshank hook.
The rod screamed off for about 5 seconds before i finally woke up and struck the rod. I was playing it for about 2minutes before the fish came in and i weighed it in at 9lb.
