How to catch easy perch

Perch bait

Everyone knows the easy bait for perch:

Casters
Maggots
Worms

But i think i have discovered an easy meal for a perch angler...MINNOWS!

When fishing for perch, you don't need any fancy equipment or any patience, you just need a rod, reel, 3lb or less line and a bucket. Anytime of day is a good time to fish for perch when fishing in a river, because basically, they are greedy, they are everywhere. Take your gear to your nearest river, with a little makeshift rod and catch as many minnows as you can, (the bigger the better). You don't need a massive hook, only about a 10 or 12 size, but just go for it. When you have a substantial number of minnows in your bucket with a fresh supply of water, get your proper rod out and just put one on your hook. Cast it up stream and let it roll down, watching your float very carefully for any twitches, as they go mad for this bait. If there is perch in the area, i guarantie that you will catch one. If after 10 casts or so, you still don't get a bite, move on to another part of the river, which is quite shady and not very fast flowing. Have a good fishing!
