Jack Button Banks Big Common

Jack Button banks 2 new personal bests in one session, upping his pb to 22lb 12oz

Jack Button spent a two night, two day session at Darenth Long Lake.

"On the first night I beat my current PB common of 6lb with a 14lb common.

"On the last day I was just about to re-bait when I had a drop back."

The bobbin then slid up to the rod blank and the fish was on.

"I was playing the fish for around 20 minutes. When I finaly got the fish in I unhooked and weighed it in at a new pb of 22lb 12oz."

The gorgeous long common was caught using 10lb ron thompson line and a size 6 raptor T-6 hook. Jack was using a 1.5oz inline lead with approximately 25cm of anti-tangling tubing and single squid and octopus boilies.

This fish makes Jack a nominee for the PB Cup monthly prize, which is free to enter.
